Funny how there's not much talk about the games, eh? So, yeah, like the subject says. How far did you make it before eating too many bullets last you played? My tipping point was midway through UM stage four (Normal). Hate timeouts so much.

My last actual attempt at playing died out in stage 5 (normal) of HSiFS. Something about those angled bullets is incredibly hard for me to dodge, and I never got around to actually learning the boss (or stage) patterns.

I managed to get all the way to stage 5 in the first three games, fully finished both the Sumeriko in nightmare land and Seija versus the world games (Since I could practice repeatededly) and the latest game I have not managed to get past stage 3.
All the other games I have not played. I really enjoyed the beat the boss games tho.

Tried playing UM with keyboard for the first time in a while. Played like garbage. Made it to the green bullet waves a little bit after Sannyo mid-boss and ate it on a stray. Maybe I ought to stick to controller.

Got all the way through UM Normal (Sanae)... with the help of the Byakuren card... and with almost all continues used.
And then I played like shit and game over'd at Sannyo's second non-spell because my entire stock of concentration had been used up by then.

Tried a couple of UM Normal runs with Sanae last night, Mamizou and Byakuren card equipped. Still running into a wall at Stage Four. I already have to bomb through Sannyo most of the time, so I get there with basically no resources. And the opening of the stage is pretty bad unless you're at full power, imo.

After months of not playing UM once... I'm no more trash than I was before, but I'm still trash. Got to Sannyo's first spell card, no lives, no spell cards.
